Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) is a national key university, an open, international and research-oriented university of science, engineering and humanities. China Agricultural University (CAU), directly subordinated to the Ministry of Education, is a Key National University entering the State 985 Program and the State 211 Program. QU Zhenyuan is the Chair of the University Council and CHEN Zhangliang is the President. With one-hundred years of history, CAU has developed itself as a comprehensive university with agriculture as its distinguished feature and advantage. It covers a wide range of disciplines on a complementary basis, such as agriculture and life science, resources and environment, information and computer science, agricultural engineering and automation science, economic management and social sciences, etc.

Dali University attracts students from 27 provinces and includes fifteen colleges and five science research institutes. It offers eight master’s degree programs, 30 undergraduate programs and 21 three-year programs in liberal arts, science, medical science, engineering, education, law, and management. Last year, the total enrollment was approximately 26,000, of which over 500 were foreign students who came from more than 15 countries.

East China University of Science and Technology (EUCST), founded in 1952, is one of the foremost universities in China. Since June 1996, ECUST has been a “Project 211” key university directly under the Ministry of Education. It is a research- oriented comprehensive university, with programs offered in both science and liberal arts, and across 59 specialties. ECUST is located across three campuses in the cosmopolitan metropolis of Shanghai.

Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) is one of the prestigious universities in China which specializes in international studies and one of the key institutions of higher learning in Guangdong Province in South China. The University was established in June 1995 through the merger of Guangzhou Institute of Foreign Languages and Guangzhou Institute of Foreign Trade. The former, one of three institutes of foreign languages in that era (the other two being Beijing Institute of Foreign Languages and Shanghai Institute of Foreign Languages) under the direct jurisdiction of the State Education Commission (presently Ministry of Education), witnessed its establishment in the year 1965. The latter was founded in 1980, and was one of the four institutions of international trade directly under Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation (presently Ministry of Commerce).

Approved by the Ministry of Education, Guangzhou University (GU), was founded as a multi-disciplinary university on July11, 2000. GU makes Guangzhou the base of its operations and at the same time services the whole of GuangdongProvince as well as all China and the outside world. While the undergraduate programs remain a dominant focus of its operation. GU is actively committed to consolidating and expanding its postgraduate programs and spares no feeorts in developing its vocational and technical higher education.

Hohai University is a state key university under the direct jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education of China. It is a comprehensive university with research and study of water resources as its main focus, education of engineering subjects as its first priority, and coordinated development of a wide array of disciplines covering engineering, science, economics, management, liberal arts, and law. Its history can be traced back to Hohai Civil Engineering School, founded in 1915, and was the first institution focusing on research and education of water resources in China. Now it has become one of the universities on China’s state “Project 211” (China’s goal of building the best 100 universities in China in the 21st century) and one of the 56 universities in China with graduate schools.

Hunan University, situated at the foot of the picturesque Yuelu Hill and on the west bank of the rippling Xiang River in the historically and culturally renowned City of Changsha, capital city of Hunan Province, is honored as an "Ancient Millenarian Academy, Famous Centennial University". It is one of the key universities affiliated with the Ministry of Education and is now included in the state's "Project 211" and "Project 985" for priority investment and construction.

Jilin University of Finance and Economics (JUFE) is a comprehensive university specializing in economics and finance located in Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province in the northeast part China. It was establishment in 1948. In addition to its undergraduate programs in over 30 academic disciplines, including economics, law, science, engineering and arts, JUFE also offers graduate programs, adult higher education, training programs for professionals, and collaborative programs with foreign universities.

Jilin Huaqiao Foreign Languages Institute (HUAWAI) is a private institute, specializing in various foreign languages and is oriented to international cooperation. It was founded in 1995. In 2003, it was accredited to issue bachelor's degrees by the State Ministry of Education. In 2004, Huawai was awarded by the government as one of the top 20 private schools in the country.
Kunming University of Science and Technology (KUST) is located in the beautiful 'spring city' of china - kunming, Yunnan. kust recruits students from all over china, including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. In addition, KUST is authorized to recruit International students for degree programs ranging from bachelor to master and PHD. There are over 40,000 students currently studying at KUST, and among them over 3,000 are graduate students. KUST presently offers 67 bachelor programs, 74 master programs and 24 PHD programs. Qingdao University is a new comprehensive university in Shandong Province, which was combined with the former Qingdao University, Shandong Textile Engineering Institute, Qingdao Medical College and Qingdao Teachers' College in 1993. QU comprises of 25 colleges, 73 specialties with undergraduate programs covering literature, history, philosophy, law, economics, management, natural sciences, engineering, medical science, education, etc. There are 25 provincial key disciplines, laboratories, and engineering research centers, and 66 specialties with doctor and master programs.

South China University of Technology (SCUT) is one of China's key universities operating under the direct leadership of the State Ministry of Education. Shanghai International Studies University (SISU) was founded in December 1949. In 1994, it was listed as one of the first colleges and universities jointly supervised by the national Ministry of Education and the Municipality of Shanghai. In 1996, it passed the evaluation process of Project 211 directed by the Ministry of Education, and became one of the nation’s “100 key universities for the 21st Century.” SISU is a research, teaching, and multidisciplinary comprehensive university, committed to cultivating foreign language elites with “high-quality, multiple skills, international vision, spirit of innovation, and capacity of practice”. Tianjin Normal University (TNU) is situated in a beautiful seashore city - Tianjin, which is about 120 kilometers from Beijingm. TNU, first founded in 1958,is a comprehensive university which featuring in teaching and academic excellence. It is the only key university on education in Tianjin. Yunnan University of Finance & Economics (YUFE) is a multi-disciplinary university. Yangzhou University (YZU) is a key comprehensive provincial university, who pioneered in China in the merging of institution of higher learning. The University was established in 1992 as a merger of 6 colleges namely Teachers College of Yangzhou, Agricultural College of Jiangsu, Engineering College of Yangzhou, Medical College of Yangzhou, Water Conservancy Engineering College of Jiangsu and Business School of Jiangsu. Former Chinese President Jiang Zemin calligraphed the name for YZU and Li Lanqing, former Chinese Vice-Premier inspected YZU five times.
